The End of the Line - Update
In May 2011 Global Ocean collaborated with EWS/WWF to continue the expansion of the outreach campaign for the documentary film ‘The End of the Line’. The film was screened at a number of key universities, schools and institutions in the UAE with each screening
being followed by questions to an expert panel. This included international fisheries scientist and scientific advisor to Global Ocean, Professor Rashid Sumaila.
See Melanie's detailed overview of the screenings HERE.
Check out Vesela Todorova's interview with fisheries scientist Rashid Sumaila in the Abu Dhabi local newspaper The National HERE.
Global Ocean would like to thank the panelists, partner NGOs, host universities, students and Global Ocean interns for their commitment and generosity in making the screenings such a success!
