The Marine Stewardship Council (MSC)

Global Ocean continues to support the Marine Stewardship Council add despite the fact that the MSC receives no government funding it is jumping from strength to strength. The official figure at the end of April was 1,484 labelled products. To give an idea of the acceleration a foot, it took the MSC around 7 years to get to the 500 product mark (by January 2007).  It then reached 1,000 before the end of the same year and now, about 6 months later, is up to nearly 1,500 – exponential is hardly the word!
