Maura Flynn

Maura graduated from Roger Williams University with a degree in marine biology, following a lifelong passion to study and protect the sea. She has worked alongside non-profit educational programs, university laboratories and aquariums. Previous work includes child education in marine sciences, rearing shellfish for reintroduction programs in the United States, and researching coral reefs. Maura joined Global Ocean in April 2011 and has become involved in several projects such as researching eco-friendly goods, aiding film screenings and assisting in the launch of the new Global Ocean website.
