Ben has an MA in History of Art from St Andrews, and has worked in the arts press and marketing for over 18 years. He has held positions at the Edinburgh International Festival, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection (Venice), Dulwich Picture Gallery, the National Portrait Gallery, Tate and Hobsbawm Macaulay Communications before joining Brunswick Arts in 2001. Over the last eleven years Ben has overseen the launch and PR campaigns of numerous high-profile arts projects such as the Baltic in Newcastle, Art Basel and Art Basel Miami Beach, the V&A's British Galleries, Art Dubai, the Sadyiyaat Island Culture District in Abu Dhabi and various announcements for Sir Cameron Mackintosh. Ben currently leads the team for the Maggie's Cancer Care Centres, the British Museum and the American University of Beirut, amongst others, and sits on Advisory Boards for the Arts Patronage in the Middle East Summit and The Edge of Arabia, a project to promote contemporary Saudi Arabian culture.
