Global Ocean India Projects
We visit several schools each month to educate students about the damage that plastic pollution causes to the environment with a focus on the oceans.
Managing Director, Melanie Salmon, presented at a National Seminar on Health and Environment about the impacts of plastic pollution in India.
Working alongside local schools we conduct beach clean sessions to rid our landscape of unwanted plastic pollution.
Every Sunday we plant trees in the Fort Kochi area and it always gathers quite a crowd of spectators who value our efforts to help make the area greener. It's an invaluable opportunity to spread our message to the community.

Our India branch carries out work that is similar to the UK branch, with the primary focus on raising awareness about plastic pollution through education, outreach and workshops. Our work is currently conducted in the state of Kerala.
